I was listening to NewsTalk 650 CKOM in Saskatoon, specifically Charles Adler of "Adler Online". How I hate him! And the thing that bothers me the worst about him is not his confrontational and condesending way of speaking. It's not his inane ramblings about meaningless topics. It's not even his ridiculous right wing lean. It's his refusal to be referred to as anything other than "Adler", even the hnourific "Mister" before his last name he eschews. God I hate him....newsflash...you're a shitty radio personality from Winnipeg. Only sixties musicians, certain fashion designers, and Brazilian soccer players get to go by one name names.

Today the 'Riders have announced that
a) They have resigned Andy Fantuz
b)They have resigned Luca Congi
both of which I said were no brainers, and so did Eric Tillman. Also Kenton Keith is reportedly turning down a $175 000 contract (which would make him the highest paid RB in the CFL) to try to go to the NFL. Hopefully he decides to stay, but I expect he's gone this year, and I don't think he'll be effective when he comes back (see Avery, John). But Bracey is viable as a number one back. Tillman also announced that Congi will only place kick next year, and there will be another player brought in to punt and kickoff. Again, it's like Tillman read my season post mortem, if somehow Jon Ryan can end up in Regina that would be like winning the lottery, since that's not going to happen I'm happy enough with and american that can boom it. Also Mike Vanderjagt is available....for the love of God don't...he's an idiot.

More 'Riders

This is quickly turning into a 'Riders blog, and I'm OK with that.
So...DB fired...as I said needed to happen in my season postmortem. Luca Congi and Andy Fantuz signed, as i said needed to happen in my season post mortem...hmmm...maybe I might know what I'm talking about, still waiting on that phone call ET. Kent Austin will be the next head coach I think, although th erumours of Dave Ritchie taking over with Austin being the offensove coordinator could easily happen (and in my post mortem I did call for Condell's head), but I don't like situations where a 'mentor' takes a position in order to groom the replacement. This was the plan for the Shivers/Barrett era, and look how that turned out.
